For vehicles over 10 years old, inspected once every 6 months. Small cars: Small and micro non-operational passenger vehicles are inspected once every 2 years within 6 years. For vehicles over 6 years old, inspected once a year. For vehicles over 15 years old, inspected once every 6 months. Motorcycles: Inspected once every 2 years within 4 years. For vehicles over 4 years old, inspected once a year. Other vehicle types: Tractors and other motor vehicles are inspected once a year. Operational motor vehicles that pass the safety technical inspection within the specified inspection period must undergo repeated safety technical inspections. Vehicles exceeding the scrapping age cannot be transferred but can continue to be used. For buying and selling, the vehicle owner can first apply for the vehicle's scrapping certificate at the vehicle management office and then proceed with the transaction.
