What are the methods for resetting an AMT transmission?

Lightly press the start switch to power on when the engine is cold. With the power on, press the accelerator pedal all the way down (past the kickdown point) and hold for 5-10 seconds. Lightly press the start switch to power off, keeping the accelerator pedal depressed during the power-off process. After powering off, release the accelerator pedal and wait a few minutes. The transmission will automatically complete the reset, producing sounds similar to a computer rebooting inside the chassis.
Last time I repaired an AMT transmission, I tried three reset methods. The safest one is the battery disconnection method: loosen the negative terminal of the battery, wait for half an hour, and then reconnect it, which is equivalent to letting the transmission 'reboot its brain'. The second method is a bit crude: insert the key to power on but do not start the engine, hold down the brake pedal for a full minute, and the computer will perform a self-check again. If you have an OBD diagnostic tool on hand, it's the easiest—just connect it to the vehicle's computer and select the transmission reset program. However, be aware that after resetting an older car, the shifting might feel stiff for the first few days, and the transmission needs to drive about a hundred kilometers to relearn and adapt. Before attempting anything, it's best to check the manual, as operation details vary by brand. If you're really unsure, just visit a repair shop—a mechanic can get it done in two minutes. Don't risk damaging the transmission just to save a little effort.
