The length of the Prado is 4840 mm, the width is 1885 mm, the height is 1890 mm, and the wheelbase is 2790 mm. The new domestic version of the Prado is equipped with a 3.5-liter V6 naturally aspirated engine. This engine has a maximum power of 206 kW, a maximum torque of 365 Nm, a maximum power speed of 6000 rpm, and a maximum torque speed of 4500 rpm. This engine is equipped with VVT-i technology and hybrid injection technology, and uses an aluminum alloy cylinder head and block. It is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission (6AT), which provides smooth shifting and enhances the vehicle's ride comfort. The front suspension of this vehicle uses a double-wishbone independent suspension, while the rear suspension employs a four-link solid axle suspension.
I've been driving the old Prado for years. This car is indeed wide. I measured the one parked in the yard with a ruler: the length is nearly 4.8 meters, specifically 4790mm, and the width is about 1.88 meters (1885mm). The most obvious feeling is that it's particularly difficult to drive into old residential areas, with only two fingers' width between the rearview mirrors and the wall gaps when reversing. When driving it to Xinjiang, I found that this width can just fit camping gear for four people, but the height of 1850mm requires extra caution in underground parking lots with height restrictions. The new model seems to have increased the length to 4840mm, and the tire protrusion design makes it appear even wider.
