What are the installation steps for excavator quick couplers?

Connect the quick coupler to the front end of the excavator's small arm and insert the pin. Turn on the spot welder power supply and weld the dedicated iron pipe for the quick coupler to the upper part of the excavator's small arm, then secure the iron pipe with pipe clamps. Install the solenoid valve connection port at the tail of the large arm, and connect the oil pipe to the quick coupler cylinder. Install the solenoid valve control switch in the cab, and after connection, check whether the solenoid valve is functioning properly.
I'm quite familiar with the job of installing excavator quick couplers. Each time, I prioritize safety: shutting off the engine and releasing hydraulic pressure first, otherwise high-pressure oil spraying out would be extremely dangerous. I prepare the coupler, wrench, and cleaning cloth beforehand. Cleaning the interface is crucial - if dust gets into the seal ring, it might cause oil leaks. Align the grooves, gently push it in, and tighten slightly with a wrench - don't over-tighten to avoid damaging the threads. After installation, start the engine to test for any leaks. Once I skipped the cleaning step, and the coupler ended up leaking oil, making repairs particularly troublesome. For routine operation, remember to check the coupler's condition weekly and replace it promptly if worn out - this ensures more reliable hydraulic system performance. Quick couplers are convenient, but proper installation procedures are vital.
