What are the functions of traction control?

The function of traction control is to enable the car to obtain optimal traction under various driving conditions. When a car is moving, acceleration requires driving force, and turning requires lateral force. Traction friction: Both forces originate from the friction between the tires and the ground, but the friction between the tires and the ground has a maximum value. On smooth roads with very low friction coefficients, the driving force and lateral force of the car are both very small. Role of the traction control system: It automatically controls the driving force during car acceleration to keep the tire slip within a reasonable range, thereby maintaining driving stability. This is similar to the function of the anti-lock braking system, which prevents the tires from locking up and improves driving stability during braking.
