Functions of the interior buttons in the Volkswagen Tiguan: Central control buttons: SYNC is the dual-zone air conditioning switch. Models equipped with this feature allow separate temperature control for the driver and front passenger seats; the Electronic Stability Program (ESP) is enabled by default and it is not recommended for drivers to manually turn it off. This system effectively prevents loss of vehicle control during extreme driving conditions. Door buttons: The driver's door features a child lock switch for the rear doors; one-touch up/down window control switches for all four doors; exterior mirror adjustment switches, which include angle adjustment, folding, and heating functions; the trunk release button is located below the door handle. The roof buttons control interior lighting and the sunroof.
I've been driving a Tiguan for five years and am very familiar with the interior buttons. On the left side of the steering wheel are the volume adjustment and track selection buttons, while the right side has the voice control and call answer keys. The row of buttons below the center console controls the air conditioning, with a knob for temperature adjustment, plus/minus buttons for fan speed, and seat heating function. The two small buttons below the air vents are for front/rear windshield defogging, which is particularly useful during winter fogging. The most prominent feature on the door panel is the window control buttons, alongside the mirror adjustment knob - press L or R to select left/right mirrors, with the central knob for angle adjustment. Near the overhead reading lights are the panoramic sunroof controls - a gentle push opens/closes it. The electronic parking brake is conveniently located behind the gear lever.
