Although experts repeatedly claim that 90% of people drive less than 50 kilometers daily, Chinese consumers have higher range requirements than Americans. This is because few Chinese families own more than one car, whereas Americans can use one pure electric vehicle for commuting and a traditional car for travel. 3. Slow Charging: Currently, most charging piles are slow chargers, taking 5-8 hours to fully charge a vehicle. While overnight charging during rest periods is possible, the drawback of slow charging becomes evident in case of emergencies. 4. After-Sales Service Needs Improvement: Although the structure of electric vehicles is simpler, the powertrain differs significantly from traditional cars, leading to some repair challenges. The first issue is the shortage of skilled technicians. Most technicians today can repair traditional cars but lack knowledge in electrical systems. Attempting to repair electric vehicles without proper expertise may not only damage the vehicle but also pose certain risks. The second issue is the scarcity of spare parts.
