What are the disadvantages of auto start-stop?

The disadvantages of auto start-stop are: 1. When temporarily stopping on a slope, the auto start-stop system activates slowly, making it easy for the vehicle to slide when releasing the brake, which can lead to dangerous situations; 2. In vehicles with auto start-stop systems, when the engine shuts off, the air conditioning only blows air without cooling, affecting passenger comfort; 3. If the vehicle stops during water wading and the engine shuts off, the sudden reduction in exhaust pressure can easily cause water to flow back from the exhaust pipe into the engine, preventing the engine from restarting. Auto start-stop is a system that automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle temporarily stops during driving (e.g., at a red light) and automatically restarts the engine when it's time to move forward.
I have a car with auto start-stop, and after driving it for quite some time, I found an annoying drawback—it worsens my driving experience. Every time I stop at a traffic light, the engine shuts off automatically, and when it restarts, the car body shakes slightly, making it feel like the engine is coughing. This vibration repeats during traffic jams, which becomes tiring. Additionally, the delayed response after restarting makes it hard to keep up with the car in front when I need a quick start, such as when someone cuts in at an intersection. Moreover, after the auto start-stop activates, the air conditioning cooling weakens, making the car stuffy in summer, and the audio volume jumps around unsteadily. Although it saves some fuel, I often manually turn off this feature because the overall comfort drops too much.
