The Envision's trunk has a depth of 810 millimeters, a width of 1030 millimeters, and a height of 740 millimeters. The Envision is a mid-size SUV under the Buick brand, with a wheelbase of 2750 millimeters, and overall dimensions of 4686 millimeters in length, 1839 millimeters in width, and 1686 millimeters in height. The Envision is equipped with two engines: a 1.5-liter turbocharged engine and a 2.0-liter turbocharged engine. It features a MacPherson independent front suspension and a multi-link independent rear suspension. The Envision is available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive versions, with the all-wheel drive models featuring an on-demand four-wheel drive system.

Recently, I took my family on a road trip with the Envision, and the trunk proved exceptionally spacious. With a standard capacity of 422L, it could fit three 24-inch suitcases and two backpacks without folding down the rear seats. When the seats were folded, the space expanded to 1500L—I once transported a 1.8-meter-long framed painting and still closed the trunk door easily. The widest part of the cargo area measures 148cm, making it effortless to place a baby stroller vertically. The reasonable loading height also earned praise from my elderly parents when loading a wheelchair. For daily grocery runs, fitting seven or eight shopping baskets is no problem at all.

My friend just bought an Enclave PLUS, and I specifically measured the trunk dimensions. With a regular depth of 97 cm, it easily fits five or six carry-on suitcases. The width ranges between 100 to 140 cm, and when the rear seats are folded down, the maximum depth extends to 180 cm. The most practical feature is the height of 75 cm—last week, I helped someone move, and we could even stack two standing fans and still close the tailgate. Compared to the similarly sized Tiguan L, the Enclave offers about 10% more cargo space overall, with a particularly noticeable advantage in height. However, keep in mind that dimensions may vary slightly between different model years.

As an SUV enthusiast who has tested dozens of vehicle trunks, the Envision's 422-liter base capacity is highly competitive in its segment. I prefer using concrete items for measurement: it can fit three 20-inch carry-on suitcases side by side plus a folded stroller horizontally; the 73cm vertical height allows pet carriers to stand upright effortlessly; and it's more than sufficient for daily grocery runs with ten bulging shopping bags. The depth performance is even more impressive—last time I fully reclined the rear seats and effortlessly loaded a mountain bike without even needing to remove the rear wheel.
