The difference is that the T4 engine has a maximum power of 140 kW; the T5 engine has a maximum power of 187 kW. The T4 engine has a maximum torque of 300 Nm; the T5 engine has a maximum torque of 350 Nm. Introduction to Vehicle Dynamics: Vehicle dynamics refers to the average driving speed that a car can achieve when driving straight on a good road surface, determined by the longitudinal external forces acting on the car. It is one of the fundamental performance characteristics of a car. Introduction to Automotive Engines: The automotive engine is the device that provides power to the car, serving as the heart of the vehicle. It determines the car's dynamics, fuel efficiency, stability, and environmental friendliness. Depending on the power source, automotive engines can be classified into diesel engines, gasoline engines, electric vehicle motors, and hybrid systems, among others.

I previously compared the Volvo S90 T4 and T5 versions, and the biggest difference lies in the engine power. The T4 has 190 horsepower, which is adequate for daily driving but feels a bit sluggish during acceleration. The T5 delivers 254 horsepower, making high-speed overtaking very crisp and decisive. The T5 also comes with additional configuration options, such as the premium Bowers & Wilkins audio system and ventilated seats. In terms of fuel consumption, the T4 is slightly more economical, saving about one liter per 100 kilometers. For daily commuting, the T4 is perfectly fine, but if you enjoy driving excitement or frequently take long trips, the T5's stronger acceleration is definitely more thrilling. With a price difference of several tens of thousands, I recommend test driving both at the dealership to truly feel the difference.

When should the Touran L have its engine oil changed?

The engine oil replacement cycle for the Touran L is every 5,000 kilometers or three months. These two maintenance indicators should be determined based on the vehicle's usage conditions, whichever comes first. Since the Touran is equipped with a turbocharged engine, it is recommended to use 5W-30 full synthetic oil, which provides relatively better performance and a longer oil change interval. The method for changing the engine oil is as follows: 1. Run the engine until it reaches operating temperature. Then use a jack to lift the vehicle, engage the handbrake, and secure the front wheels with wooden wedges. 2. Place an old oil container under the oil pan, locate the oil pan drain plug, and slowly loosen it, being careful not to come into contact with the hot oil. Allow the oil to drain for a while. Inspect the drain plug, then reinstall it, ensuring not to overtighten it to avoid damaging the oil pan. 3. Move the oil container under the oil filter, use an oil filter wrench to loosen the filter, and remove it by hand. 4. Apply new oil to the gasket of the new filter. 5. Pour the new oil into the oil pan. A funnel can be used to prevent spilling oil on the engine exterior. Check for leaks under the engine. If there are no leaks, lower the vehicle, check the oil dipstick, and start the engine. After starting, the indicator light on the dashboard should turn off immediately. Finally, turn off the engine and recheck the oil level to complete the process.
