Last year when I was shopping for an electric vehicle, I paid special attention to space and family practicality. The XPeng P7 is a sedan—it looks stylish but has limited rear legroom, making it a bit cramped when taking my two kids out. The ID.4 X, being an SUV, has a taller body and a spacious trunk that can easily fit a stroller and all sorts of bags, making family road trips much more hassle-free. In terms of brand reputation, Volkswagen is an established player with convenient 4S service networks, while XPeng is trendier but has fewer service locations. Regarding battery performance, the ID.4 X proved more reliable in real-world tests, with less range loss in winter. For families with kids, I’d prioritize the ID.4 X—its practicality simply outshines sedan options. Price-wise, the P7 is slightly cheaper, but spending a bit more for long-term peace of mind is worth it. After driving the ID.4 X for six months now, I’ve never had any complaints about space when shuttling the kids around.

How to Turn Off the Auto Start-Stop Function on the Equinox?

The Equinox does not have a dedicated button to turn off the auto start-stop function. Owners can control the depth of the brake pedal and use the L gear to avoid triggering the auto start-stop feature. If owners dislike the auto start-stop function in automatic transmission mode, they can switch to manual transmission to bypass this feature. The auto start-stop function automatically shuts off the engine when the vehicle comes to a temporary stop (e.g., at a red light) and restarts it when it's time to move forward again. The Equinox is a midsize SUV with body dimensions of 4652 mm in length, 1843 mm in width, and 1693 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2725 mm. It is equipped with two engine options: a 1.5L turbocharged engine and a 2.0L turbocharged engine.

How to Deal with Air Leakage in Tubeless Tire Rims?

Tubeless tire rim air leakage should first determine the cause of the leakage. Damage or deformation on the edge of the rim or tire, improper tire installation, or poor sealing may be the reasons. It is necessary to remove and inspect carefully. The solutions are as follows: 1. Small and slight leakage gap: If the tire bead is only slightly damaged or no obvious damage is visible, you can inject self-sealing liquid into the tubeless tire for repair. 2. Large and severe leakage gap: Check the position of the gap. If it is located in a non-friction area, you can use silicone-based positive pressure sealing; if it is in the friction area, fine metal adhesive with positive pressure can be used for repair.
