The differences between the new Lavida and the old Lavida are the headlights: the new Lavida uses LED headlights; the old Lavida uses halogen headlights. Compared to the old Lavida, the new Lavida adds Bluetooth phone, engine auto start-stop, auto hold, tire pressure monitoring, rear seat air vents, and parking radar functions. The new Lavida is equipped with three engines from the EA211 series: a 1.2-liter turbocharged engine, a 1.4-liter turbocharged engine, and a 1.5-liter naturally aspirated engine. Its body length is 4670mm, width is 1806mm, height is 1474mm, and the wheelbase is 2688mm.

I think the new Lavida has improved significantly in driving comfort compared to the old model. The seats are softer, and the suspension tuning is smoother, making long drives less tiring. The interior uses new materials - the old version had too much plastic feel, while the new soft padding and stitching appear much more premium. Noise control has also been optimized, with much less wind noise at high speeds. More storage space has been added, making it more convenient to store bags and miscellaneous items. Although the new car price is slightly higher in terms of economic practicality, it's more cost-effective in the long run with better fuel efficiency and lower maintenance. I think these differences are quite suitable for commuters like me who drive daily.

The new Lavida has undergone significant technological upgrades. The old model typically featured a 1.6L naturally aspirated engine, which was underpowered and fuel-inefficient. The new version has been upgraded to a 1.5T turbocharged engine, boosting horsepower to around 110, providing stronger acceleration while improving fuel efficiency by approximately 10%. The chassis tuning is more stable, ensuring no body roll during high-speed cornering. The electronic systems have been completely revamped, adding a large touchscreen that supports both CarPlay and Android Auto, a major improvement over the sluggish button-based infotainment system in the old model. Safety features now include adaptive cruise control and blind-spot monitoring, making the overall driving experience much more modern.

The new Lavida has a more youthful exterior design compared to the older version's stable and square feel. The new model features sleek lines and LED headlights that look particularly cool. As someone in my 20s, I love its new wheel design and hidden exhaust, which exude a strong sense of fashion. Technologically, the touchscreen replaces physical buttons, making navigation and music usage super fast and enjoyable. Although the space hasn't changed much, the lively color schemes make it perfect for my daily drives as someone who loves fun.

From a family car perspective, the new Lavida offers abundant safety features, while the older model only has basic airbags. The new version comes standard with multiple airbags and an automatic braking system, providing greater peace of mind when traveling with kids. The space layout is well-designed, with ample legroom in the rear seats and plenty of storage compartments for children's items. The reinforced body structure delivers good crash test results. Additionally, the interior materials are stain-resistant and durable, showing minimal wear over long-term use, making it a high-value option.
