The CLA200 Style and Dynamic models differ in configuration, tire specifications, and price. Both models are equipped with standard features including front and side airbags for both front and rear passengers, curtain airbags, knee airbags, tire pressure monitoring, run-flat tires, ESP stability control system, traction control, brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution, autonomous emergency braking, hill start assist, rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic parking, auto hold, panoramic sunroof, power sunroof, 8-inch color display, and more. Configuration differences: The Dynamic model features a combination of leather and fabric seats, while the Style model uses synthetic leather. The Style model includes power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function. The Style model's low and high beams are LED, whereas the Dynamic model uses halogen lights. The Style model has LED daytime running lights, which the Dynamic model lacks. The Style model comes with memory function for side mirrors and rain-sensing wipers, while the Dynamic model only offers rain-sensing wipers as an option. Tire specifications differ: The Dynamic model uses 225/45-R17 tires, while the Style model has 225/40-R18 tires. Price difference: The Style model is priced higher than the Dynamic model.

The main differences between the CLA200 Dynamic and Fashion models lie in their configurations. The Fashion model comes with more practical features compared to the Dynamic model, such as a reversing camera which is very convenient for beginners when parking, and higher-quality seat materials for more comfortable seating. The wheel size is usually larger in the Fashion model, giving it a more stylish appearance. The central control screen in the Fashion model might also be bigger, making the operation of the vehicle's system smoother. In terms of price, the Fashion model is about 10,000 to 20,000 RMB more expensive, but the additional features are definitely worth the extra cost. Friends of mine who own a CLA all recommend going straight for the Fashion model.

After driving both models, I found the differences quite noticeable. The Dynamic version, being the base model, is perfectly adequate for daily driving. The Fashion version excels in details, such as its more adjustable automatic air conditioning, a more refined steering wheel texture, and electric seats with memory function. The audio system is also upgraded, making listening to music while driving more enjoyable. Additionally, the Fashion version comes with keyless entry, so you don't need to take out the key every time you open the door. However, fuel consumption and power are exactly the same, so it depends on whether you value these comfort features.

From a performance perspective, the difference is actually minimal, as both come with a 1.3T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The most noticeable distinction lies in the configuration: the Fashion trim adds a panoramic sunroof, improving interior lighting. It also includes additional safety features like active brake assist, which is quite practical for city driving. The lighting system is upgraded as well, featuring headlights with automatic adjustment. If you frequently drive long distances, the Fashion trim would be more convenient, offering an extra layer of active safety protection. The Sporty trim, on the other hand, is more suited for urban commuting.

When a car, pay special attention to seat differences. The Sport version comes with standard faux leather seats, while the Luxury version upgrades to genuine leather material, offering better breathability in summer and enhanced durability. The Luxury driver's seat features power adjustment with memory function, allowing one-touch position recall when switching drivers. For rear passengers, the Luxury trim adds independent air vents for improved comfort. Overall, the extra cost for the Luxury version mainly enhances ride quality - especially worthwhile if you frequently transport elderly family members or children.

For appearance enthusiasts, the styling differences between these two models are a must-mention. The Fashion trim comes with AMG exterior styling kit, featuring more sporty front and rear bumper designs and sharper body lines. The wheel size is upgraded from 17-inch to 18-inch, offering better grip and absolutely stunning visual effects. The window frames are replaced with chrome materials that shine brilliantly under sunlight. Inside, the Fashion trim boasts exclusive stitching designs and offers more ambient lighting color options. The Dynamic trim looks relatively ordinary but has an enduring appeal. Honestly, the AMG kit alone makes me lean towards the Fashion trim - it gives the car significantly higher recognition on the road.
