The Mercedes-Benz CLA200 Style and Dynamic models differ in configuration, tire specifications, and price. Both models are equipped with standard features including front and side airbags for both front and rear passengers, curtain airbags, knee airbags, tire pressure monitoring, run-flat tires, ESP stability control system, traction control, brake assist, electronic brakeforce distribution, autonomous emergency braking, hill start assist, rearview camera, front and rear parking sensors, cruise control, automatic parking, auto hold, panoramic sunroof, power sunroof, 8-inch color display, and more. Configuration differences: The Dynamic model features a combination of leather and fabric seats, while the Style model uses synthetic leather. The Style model includes power-adjustable driver's seat with memory function. The Style model's low and high beams are LED, whereas the Dynamic model uses halogen lights. The Style model has LED daytime running lights, which the Dynamic model lacks. The Style model comes with memory function for side mirrors and rain-sensing wipers, while the Dynamic model only offers rain-sensing wipers as an option. Tire specifications differ: The Dynamic model uses 225/45-R17 tires, while the Style model has 225/40-R18 tires. Price difference: The Style model is priced higher than the Dynamic model.

The main differences between the Mercedes-Benz CLA200 Dynamic and Fashion models lie in their configurations. The Fashion model comes with more practical features compared to the Dynamic model, such as a reversing camera which is very convenient for beginners when parking, and higher-quality seat materials for more comfortable seating. The wheel size is usually larger in the Fashion model, giving it a more stylish appearance. The central control screen in the Fashion model might also be bigger, making the operation of the vehicle's system smoother. In terms of price, the Fashion model is about 10,000 to 20,000 RMB more expensive, but the additional features are definitely worth the extra cost. Friends of mine who own a CLA all recommend going straight for the Fashion model.

After driving both models, I found the differences quite noticeable. The Dynamic version, being the base model, is perfectly adequate for daily driving. The Fashion version excels in details, such as its more adjustable automatic air conditioning, a more refined steering wheel texture, and electric seats with memory function. The audio system is also upgraded, making listening to music while driving more enjoyable. Additionally, the Fashion version comes with keyless entry, so you don't need to take out the key every time you open the door. However, fuel consumption and power are exactly the same, so it depends on whether you value these comfort features.

From a performance perspective, the difference is actually minimal, as both come with a 1.3T engine paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission. The most noticeable distinction lies in the configuration: the Fashion trim adds a panoramic sunroof, improving interior lighting. It also includes additional safety features like active brake assist, which is quite practical for city driving. The lighting system is upgraded as well, featuring LED headlights with automatic adjustment. If you frequently drive long distances, the Fashion trim would be more convenient, offering an extra layer of active safety protection. The Sporty trim, on the other hand, is more suited for urban commuting.
