I specifically visited 4S stores to compare these two models before buying. Both the Macaron Fashion Edition and Premium Edition are excellent micro cars, but the differences are quite noticeable. The Fashion Edition is more affordable with an official range of 120 km, sufficient for urban commuting but less ideal for long-distance trips. The Premium Edition costs a few thousand more but boosts the range to 170 km, making weekend getaways to suburban areas worry-free. In terms of motor performance, the Premium Edition's 30 kW power offers noticeably quicker acceleration than the Fashion Edition's 20 kW, providing more confidence when overtaking. For safety features, the Premium Edition includes a driver-side airbag for better protection in emergencies, while the Fashion Edition requires aftermarket installation of a reversing camera, which comes factory-fitted in the Premium Edition. Charging times are similar, but there's a significant difference in battery capacity—the Premium Edition's 13.8 kWh battery takes about 9 hours to fully charge. If you frequently travel long distances, spending extra on the Premium Edition is the more hassle-free choice.

The most practical additions are the rearview camera and Bluetooth connectivity, which the Fashion trim lacks—parking becomes a matter of intuition. The interior materials in the Premium trim are also more refined, and with an extra speaker, the audio quality is noticeably better.
