What are the differences between the Liky 250 and 300?

Most 300cc models in the domestic market have extended versions at the 250cc level. On one hand, this reduces R&D costs, and on the other hand, it lowers the vehicle price, making it more suitable for riders with limited financial resources. The main differences are as follows: Different specifications: The Liky 250 has overall dimensions of 2215×780×1335mm, while the Liky 300 measures 2215×780×1170mm. Different powertrain configurations: The Liky 250 is equipped with a 249cc single-cylinder high-performance four-valve liquid-cooled engine with a maximum power output of 16.5kw; the Liky 300 features an actual displacement of 275cc four-valve liquid-cooled engine delivering a maximum power of 17.5Kw.
I've ridden both the Likai 250 and 300, and the 300 shows a noticeable improvement in displacement and power. The 300 is equipped with a 292cc liquid-cooled engine, delivering stronger performance than the 249cc of the 250, providing more confidence when accelerating and overtaking, with quicker throttle response. The frame of the 300 has been reinforced, offering better high-speed stability, especially with more solid tire grip when cornering. The seat height of the 300 has been slightly lowered, making it easier for riders around 170cm tall to plant both feet on the ground. In terms of storage, the 300's under-seat compartment is larger and can fit a full-face helmet. The fuel tank capacity of the 300 has been increased to 12 liters, allowing for about 50km more range than the 250. However, the 300 is 15kg heavier, making it less agile for city commuting compared to the lighter 250, and it's also 3,000 to 4,000 yuan more expensive. It really depends on individual needs and budget.
