What are the consequences of adding too much engine oil?

Adding too much engine oil can have the following impacts on the vehicle: 1. Carbon buildup and fuel injector clogging: This may cause blue smoke from the engine exhaust pipe, carbon deposits in the cylinders, accelerated wear of piston rings, and carbon accumulation on fuel injectors, reducing cylinder efficiency. It may also lead to piston ring seizure or fuel injector blockage. 2. Oil leakage: Excessive oil increases the risk of crankcase explosion and oil leaks. Methods to remove excess engine oil: Some oil can be drained from the oil pan drain plug, but this should only be done after the engine has cooled down. Alternatively, use a syringe with medical tubing to extract the excess oil. The normal oil level should be between the upper and lower marks on the dipstick.
