What are the conditions for BYD's battery lifetime warranty?

If the vehicle is involved in an accident, as long as it is repaired at a BYD-authorized service center and the accident does not cause damage to components related to the three-electric system, the lifetime warranty can still be enjoyed; the battery warranty policy is that the first individual owner (non-commercial use) gets a lifetime warranty for the three-electric system, while the vehicle warranty policy is 6 years or 150,000 kilometers for the entire vehicle; for the three-electric system, BYD provides a lifetime warranty for the Han model, which constitutes the conditions for BYD's battery lifetime warranty. Lifetime warranty does not mean free battery replacement for life: the component most prone to issues in pure electric vehicles is generally the power battery, but BYD's lifetime warranty does not equate to free battery replacement for life. The battery assembly includes various components such as battery cells, connecting plates, circuit boards, etc. Normal degradation of the power battery is generally not covered under the warranty. The warranty period is the validity period of the three guarantees. National regulations stipulate that the warranty period should not be less than 2 years or 50,000 kilometers, during which conditional returns or exchanges are possible (specific terms can be found in the 'Regulations on the Repair, Replacement, and Return Responsibility of Household Automotive Products'). Generally, car manufacturers avoid using the term 'warranty' and instead specify the 'free repair period.' The free repair period is the time during which repairs are free, but returns or exchanges are not allowed.
