What are the common failures of Nissan CVT?

Some common failure symptoms of Nissan CVT mainly include chain and sprocket damage, acceleration shudder, abnormal noises, and engine speed fluctuations. Failure causes: Steering wheel vibration is one of the most common vehicle issues in daily use. If it's only slight vibration, there should be no major problem as this is caused by engine resonance. If concerned, you can check whether the engine and transmission mounting brackets are secure, whether the support feet are reliable, whether the engine mounts are cracked, whether screws are loose, and whether the steering gear fixing screws are loose, etc. Inspection items: If the steering wheel vibrates during idle, then check whether the rubber bushings of the steering wheel transmission device are faulty and whether the bolts fixing the steering wheel transmission device are loose. Also check whether the steering wheel vibration is related to engine idle or steering gear. When the steering wheel is turned to full lock, vibration may occur sometimes accompanied by abnormal noises - this is mostly caused by steering gear pressure relief or air in the power steering fluid (mechanical type).
