What are the causes of diesel engine idle vibration?

Diesel engine idle vibration can be caused by: 1. Sticking or poor atomization of a certain cylinder's fuel injector nozzle assembly, resulting in that cylinder not working or working poorly; 2. Uneven idle fuel supply from the injection pump, causing uneven operation among cylinders at idle; 3. Improper idle adjustment; 4. Incorrect valve clearance, loose adjustment screws or abnormal wear, worn valve push rods. Idle is not a speed but an operating condition where the engine runs without load. When the accelerator pedal is fully released while the engine is running, it enters idle state. The engine speed during idle is called idle speed, which can be adjusted by changing the throttle opening size to increase or decrease it.
