What are the causes of crankshaft vibration?

Car vibration is one of the most common malfunctions in vehicles. Below are possible reasons for vibration occurring during driving: Ignition system issues: Problems such as excessive or insufficient spark plug gap, excessive carbon buildup on spark plugs, damaged ignition coils, disconnected or leaking high-voltage wires may cause unstable idling. The entire ignition system should be inspected. Excessive carbon deposits: Excessive carbon buildup in the engine, throttle body, and fuel injectors is the primary cause of engine vibration. Since carbon deposits absorb gasoline, excessive amounts may be drawn into the combustion chamber, resulting in fluctuating air-fuel mixture concentrations. This makes cold-start vibrations particularly noticeable.
