What are the benefits of S gear?

S gear offers the following benefits: 1. Powerful power output: In S gear sport mode, the transmission can shift freely, but the shifting timing is delayed, keeping the engine at high RPM for a longer time. This allows the car to travel at low gear and high RPM for an extended period, resulting in greater torque output and acceleration. 2. Reduced carbon deposits: Cars that frequently drive in congested urban areas tend to accumulate more carbon deposits in the engine. Therefore, using S gear appropriately at regular intervals helps remove carbon deposits from the engine, improving fuel economy and extending the engine's lifespan.
I particularly enjoy using the S-gear on highways or winding roads, mainly because it makes the car respond super quickly, with acceleration as powerful as a cheetah. The first benefit is that it delays the shift point, keeping the transmission in lower gears more often, so power comes on quickly when overtaking or climbing hills, giving a greater sense of control. Secondly, the S-gear really shines on mountain roads—step on the accelerator, and the car immediately speeds up, with more agile steering, making the whole journey more thrilling and fun. However, it's worth noting that fuel consumption will increase slightly, and long-term use may wear out the transmission, but occasional use is absolutely worth it. Additionally, drive carefully in rain or snow to avoid sudden acceleration, and adapt to different road conditions to improve safety—that’s my experience.
