Basic car maintenance includes five fluids, three waters, and tires. The five fluids refer to gasoline, engine oil, transmission fluid, power steering fluid, and brake fluid. The three waters refer to radiator coolant, windshield washer fluid, and battery water. The last item is the car's tires. Tire maintenance includes regularly checking the tire pressure. Tires with pressure exceeding the specified level will significantly reduce their service life, while tires with pressure below the specified level will result in poor braking performance, difficulty in steering, or heavy steering, ultimately affecting the tire's service life. Below is an introduction to car maintenance: 1. Introduction to car maintenance: Car maintenance refers to the preventive work of regularly inspecting, cleaning, replenishing, lubricating, adjusting, or replacing certain parts of the car, also known as car servicing. 2. Scope of car maintenance: Modern car maintenance mainly includes the engine system (engine), transmission system, air conditioning system, cooling system, fuel system, power steering system, etc. 3. Purpose of car maintenance: The purpose of car maintenance is to keep the car clean, maintain normal technical conditions, eliminate potential hazards, prevent faults, slow down the deterioration process, and extend the service life.

Every time I go to the 4S shop for maintenance, I focus on six basic items: engine oil and oil filter must be replaced, especially full synthetic oil needs to be changed after running 8,000 kilometers; tire pressure must be checked and the position adjusted, otherwise uneven wear will cost a lot of money; if the air filter is dirty, replace it directly with a new one, as smooth breathing makes the car more powerful; brake pads thinner than 3mm must be replaced, as they are life-saving stuff; battery terminals need to be cleaned of rust to prevent leakage, as a dead battery in winter is the most troublesome; if the wiper doesn't clean well, replace the rubber strip immediately, as blurred vision on rainy days is unacceptable. These items can all be monitored by yourself, so don't be fooled into spending money on additional items.

What is the mix ratio for M5 mixed mortar?

cement:sand=346kg:1631kg. The following is a related introduction to mixed mortar: 1. Introduction: Mixed mortar refers to a mixture of sand, cement, and lime in a certain proportion, generally used for masonry above ground level. The mixture of sand and cement is called "cement mortar"; the mixture of sand and lime (paste) is called "lime mortar". 2. Advantages: Due to the addition of lime paste, mixed mortar improves the workability of the mortar, making it more convenient to operate and beneficial for increasing the density and efficiency of the masonry. The uses of cement mortar in construction projects include foundation and wall masonry, serving as an adhesive for block masonry materials, such as laying rubble or red bricks with cement mortar.

What does the S gear in Civic mean?

The S gear in Civic, namely the Sport mode, can be switched to when overtaking or pursuing sporty driving. At this time, the car's power output is more sufficient, and the acceleration will be faster. The L gear is the Low gear, which can be used when going uphill or downhill. The lower gear provides more power when going uphill and can assist in braking when going downhill. Some cars may not have the M gear, which stands for Manual mode. When switching to this gear, it is equivalent to driving a manual transmission, requiring the driver to shift gears up or down manually, providing a more engaging driving experience for those who enjoy manual transmissions. Below is an introduction to automatic transmission: 1. Automatic transmissions have four basic gears, namely P gear, R gear, N gear, and D gear. P gear is the Parking gear, R gear is the Reverse gear, N gear is the Neutral gear, and D gear is the Drive gear. These gears represent the most basic functions of a car: moving forward, reversing, parking, and neutral. Like manual transmissions, these are the basic gears that enable the car to move and park. 2. When engaging the P gear, ensure the car has come to a complete stop and will not move forward or backward further. N gear means Neutral. At this time, although the car's engine is still running, the transmission basically stops working, and there is no power output. It can be used for brief stops.

What Causes a Sudden Increase in Idle Speed During Cold Start?

Cold start idle speed suddenly increasing is a normal phenomenon. To allow the engine to reach its optimal operating temperature as quickly as possible, the engine idle speed is increased based on signals from sensors like the coolant temperature sensor during a cold start. After the engine warms up, the engine speed will gradually decrease to around 800 to 1000 RPM. The normal idle speed for a cold start is generally between 700 to 800 RPM. If the idle speed is too low, the engine may vibrate easily, and if it's too high, fuel consumption will increase. The idle speed of a car refers to an operating condition where the engine runs without load, known as idling, meaning the car is in neutral gear. The engine speed during idling is called the idle speed, which can be adjusted by modifying the throttle opening size, among other methods.

Does adding more engine oil have any impact?

Adding more engine oil does have an impact, as it can reduce the engine's output power. The following are specific hazards of excessive engine oil: 1. Reduced engine lifespan: When the oil level is too high, the oil becomes diluted, leading to a decrease in viscosity. This results in insufficient lubrication and cooling capabilities, causing cylinder scuffing, bearing wear, and affecting normal engine operation. In severe cases, it can shorten the engine's lifespan. 2. Increased carbon deposits in the combustion chamber: When the oil level exceeds the upper limit on the dipstick, some oil may enter the combustion chamber and participate in combustion, leading to oil burning. This can cause the catalytic converter to fail, rapid damage to the oxygen sensor, increased carbon deposits in the combustion chamber, unstable idle, poor acceleration, increased fuel consumption, and excessive exhaust emissions.
