Application requirements for cross-border vehicle license plates are introduced as follows: Hong Kong-Mainland Guangdong Z license plate: Overseas investors who have invested in Guangdong Province and whose cumulative tax payment within 3 years (including the application year) reaches the specified standard amount in RMB or above may be granted permission to apply for 1 business vehicle license plate for entry and exit to the mainland during the contract validity period. Those whose cumulative tax payment reaches the corresponding higher RMB amount may apply for a 2nd vehicle, and those reaching the next higher RMB amount may apply for a 3rd vehicle. Mainland-Hong Kong FV license plate: State-owned enterprises, collective enterprises, and private enterprises approved in Guangdong Province, with cumulative tax payment reaching the corresponding RMB amount or above within 3 years (including the application year), can apply for 1 business vehicle quota for mainland vehicles exiting to Hong Kong via the bridge. Mainland enterprises that have already applied for other ports are not restricted and can still submit applications. Other conditions: Hong Kong enterprises listed in the national high-tech enterprise directory, Hong Kong residents who have donated cumulative amounts reaching the corresponding RMB or above for public welfare causes in Guangdong Province, and Hong Kong individuals serving as members of the National People's Congress, Guangdong Provincial People's Congress, or members of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference at provincial, city, or district levels.
