Additionally, fuel consumption is typically about 5% higher than manual transmissions due to lower transmission efficiency and some energy loss. There's also less driving pleasure, as you can't manually control the gears to experience that sense of control.
With technological advancements, modern CVT or dual-clutch transmissions have improved significantly in terms of smoothness and fuel efficiency. However, regular maintenance is still essential—don't neglect oil changes and upkeep.
