When a car fails to meet oncoming vehicles or reverse as required; fails to install vehicle license plates as required; does not carry the driver's license or vehicle registration certificate; or the driver smokes, eats, or engages in other behaviors that hinder safe driving, one point will be deducted from the driver's license. Driver's license point deduction standards: Based on the severity of road traffic violations, the points deducted at one time are categorized into five types: 12 points, 6 points, 3 points, 2 points, and 1 point. Point deduction method: For road traffic violations committed by motor vehicle drivers, penalties and point deductions are executed simultaneously. If a motor vehicle driver commits two or more violations at one time, the points should be calculated separately and accumulated.
