Symptoms of BMW Engine Cover Leakage?

BMW engine cover (valve cover) leakage symptoms are as follows: 1. Valve cover leakage can lead to weak vehicle performance, incomplete combustion of fuel in the combustion chamber, resulting in increased fuel consumption; 2. It causes slow acceleration, difficulty in engine starting, reduced power, incomplete combustion, leading to severe carbon buildup, and may even cause individual cylinders to stop working; 3. It can also result in a "whooshing" sound when the engine is running, with particularly loud noise at the crankcase, along with smoke coming out from the crankcase vent or oil filler port, and the noise increases during acceleration. For BMW engine cover (valve cover) leakage, the engine cover can only be replaced at a repair shop or 4S dealership.
