Automotive transmissions can be divided into manual transmissions and automatic transmissions based on their control methods. Common automatic transmissions mainly include four types: Automated Manual Transmission (AMT), Hydraulic Automatic Transmission (AT), Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT), and Dual-Clutch Transmission (DSG). Below are their structures and working principles: 1. Structure and Working Principle of Manual Transmission: A manual transmission mainly consists of a housing, transmission components (input/output shafts, gear synchronizers, etc.), and control components (shift levers, shift forks, etc.). By moving the gear lever, the driving gear on the intermediate shaft is switched, and different gear combinations engage with the power output shaft to change the torque and speed of the driving wheels. 2. Structure and Working Principle of Hydraulic Automatic Transmission: The torque converter generally consists of a pump impeller, stator, turbine, and lock-up clutch. The transmission is filled with transmission fluid. When the pump impeller connected to the power input shaft rotates, it drives the turbine connected to the output shaft via the transmission fluid, thereby transmitting the engine's power. 3. Structure and Working Principle of Continuously Variable Transmission: The main components of a CVT are two pulleys and a metal belt. The metal belt is looped around the two pulleys. Each pulley consists of two discs, with a V-shaped groove formed between them. One of the discs is controlled by a hydraulic mechanism, allowing it to move apart or closer depending on the engine speed. This action changes the width of the V-shaped groove, raising or lowering the metal belt, thereby altering the contact diameter between the belt and the pulley, which is equivalent to switching gears of different diameters in a gear transmission. 4. Structure and Working Principle of Dual-Clutch Transmission: Two clutches are assembled within the same mechanism as the transmission. One clutch is responsible for engaging gears 1, 3, 5, and reverse, while the other clutch handles gears 2, 4, and 6. When the driver engages 1st gear to start, the shift fork simultaneously engages 1st and 2nd gears, but clutch 1 is engaged while clutch 2 is disengaged, so power is transmitted through the 1st gear, and the 2nd gear idles. When the driver shifts to 2nd gear, the shift fork simultaneously engages 2nd and 3rd gears, clutch 1 disengages while clutch 2 engages, transmitting power through the 2nd gear, and the 3rd gear idles.

How Long is the Validity Period from Subject 1 to Subject 2?

Subject 1 to Subject 2 has a validity period of three years. Below is detailed information about the driver's license examination: 1. Overview: The motor vehicle driver's license examination is an official driving skills test conducted within the territory of the People's Republic of China to obtain legal permission to drive motor vehicles. Upon passing the examination, the corresponding registered license is issued. 2. Others: The Ministry of Public Security of China has published the revised "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses" on its official website. According to these regulations, the content and passing standards of the driver's license examination subjects will be unified nationwide. On May 10, 2021, the Ministry of Public Security held a press conference to announce 12 convenience measures for deepening the reform of "simplification, decentralization, and service optimization" in public security traffic management, under the theme "I do practical things for the people."

How to Solve Hard Braking When Air Conditioning is On?

Car air conditioning on causes hard braking due to reduced brake vacuum assist. It is recommended to go to a 4S shop for inspection and repair. The following is a detailed introduction about car brakes: 1. Brake: Brake, also known as deceleration, refers to the action of stopping or reducing the speed of running locomotives, vehicles, and other transportation tools or machinery. The brake device is a mechanical braking device that can slow down the speed, also known as a decelerator. 2. Brake system: The brake system consists of a control system, hydraulic system, and assist system. The control system is the pedal, handbrake, etc. The hydraulic system consists of hydraulic oil, brake pump, and hydraulic oil pipes. The assist system is the vacuum assist pump. The electronic control system consists of ABS pump, ABS sensor, and ABS computer. The execution system consists of brake calipers, brake pads, and brake discs.

How Many Grams of Refrigerant Can Be Added to the JAC Refine Air Conditioning?

JAC Refine requires between 1200-1800 grams of refrigerant, which is equivalent to 2 to 3 bottles. The role of automotive refrigerant includes the following 3 points: 1. Heat dissipation: It uses its own physical changes to remove heat from the vehicle. Under high pressure, the refrigerant forms a liquid and releases heat; 2. Phase change: When it flows back to the expansion valve, influenced by the pressure difference, it instantly changes from liquid to gas, absorbing a large amount of heat around the evaporator, similar to how water absorbs heat when it turns into steam; 3. Heat release: The compressor draws it into the cylinder for compression, transforming it from gas to liquid, then releases heat, which is dissipated through the condenser using a fan—this is the function of the refrigerant.

How to Set Up BMW Folding Mirrors?

BMW mirror folding method: The BMW 5 Series has a mirror folding button on the driver's side door panel. Press the folding button located at the upper right of the door, symmetrically on both left and right doors. Pressing this button will fold the mirrors. Here is some relevant information: 1. Before adjusting the mirrors, you must adjust the vehicle seat and steering wheel position. The basic principle of seat adjustment is to sit comfortably, have a clear view, and use the steering wheel with ease. Maintaining the correct sitting posture is a prerequisite for adjusting the mirrors; improper posture will prevent the mirrors from functioning as intended. 2. For the central interior mirror, adjust the horizon's reflection in the central mirror to the center of the mirror and position the reflection of the right ear to the left edge of the mirror.
