Steps to Turn on Car Air Conditioning in Summer

After getting into the car, first open the windows for ventilation. Do not start the car immediately after it has been exposed to the sun; instead, open all four doors to allow toxic gases to dissipate. After starting the vehicle, turn on the fan but do not activate the air conditioning yet. Let the fan blow out the contaminated air from the air conditioning system. After running the fan on natural air for 5 minutes, press the air conditioning button to turn on the cooling. Keep the windows open during this process. For faster cooling, switch the circulation mode to "internal circulation."
Don't rush to turn on the AC as soon as you get in the car. In summer, the interior can be as hot as a steamer, and blasting cold air immediately will reduce cooling efficiency and waste fuel. I always start the engine first, then roll down all the windows to ventilate, waiting a minute or two to let the hot air escape. Only then do I turn on the AC, press the A/C button, and set the temperature knob to around 25°C—just right. I start with a higher fan speed to cool down faster, then lower it once the car feels comfortable. I prefer switching to fresh air mode first to expel any stale odors, then switching back to recirculation mode to maintain coolness longer. Remember to adjust the vents so they're not blowing directly at you to avoid catching a cold, and clean the AC filter regularly to prevent odors. This way, driving is comfortable, fuel-efficient, and safe.
