Starting from which year does a 2007 vehicle require biannual inspections?

According to the latest regulations, vehicles that are over 15 years old require biannual inspections. Therefore, a 2007 vehicle will need semi-annual inspections starting from 2022. For vehicles under 10 years old, the first 6 years are exempt from inspection, with mandatory inspections required in the 6th, 8th, and 10th years. Vehicles aged between 10 and 15 years require annual inspections, while those over 15 years old need inspections every six months. Based on the exemption of non-commercial mini and micro passenger vehicles with 6 seats or less within 6 years, the exemption scope has been expanded to include non-commercial mini and micro passenger vehicles with 7 to 9 seats (excluding minivans). Before the annual inspection, it is necessary to check whether the vehicle has any traffic violation records. If there are any, they must be resolved in advance at the traffic police station. Additionally, relevant documents should be prepared beforehand, including the original and duplicate of the vehicle's driving license, the vehicle and vessel tax payment receipt, the owner's original ID card and a copy, and for company vehicles, the company's code certificate and the agent's identity proof. A valid compulsory traffic insurance policy (a duplicate of the compulsory insurance) is also required. If the duplicate page is lost, the original compulsory insurance policy must be brought along with an A4 photocopy.
