Should You Turn on AC When Using Car Air Conditioner in Winter?

In winter, there is no need to turn on the AC when using the car air conditioner. The AC button is used for air conditioning regulation, primarily for activating the compressor to provide cooling during summer. The warm air in a car's heating system comes from the heat generated by the engine during operation. After the engine's cooling system dissipates heat from the engine, a fan directs this heat into the car's interior to provide warmth. The correct way to use the car's heating system is: after starting the car and allowing the engine to warm up until the temperature gauge reaches the midpoint, turn on the heating system. Set the air circulation to external initially to expel cold air from the cabin. After 2 to 3 minutes, switch the air circulation to internal for optimal warmth.
