For Subject 2 of the driving test, you generally don't need to start the engine when getting into the car. The examinee only needs to adjust the rearview mirrors and seat, fasten the seat belt, and wait for the test to begin. However, it's possible that the test vehicle may have stalled before the examinee gets in. Below is some relevant information about the Subject 2 driving test: 1. Test Content: The test items for small car licenses C1 and C2 include five mandatory sections: reversing into a parking space, parallel parking, stopping and starting on a slope, turning at a right angle, and driving through curves. 2. Passing Criteria: According to the "Regulations on the Application and Use of Motor Vehicle Driver's Licenses," the Subject 2 test for C1 and C2 licenses is scored out of 100 points. Deductions for each item include failing (directly deducting 100 points), deducting 20 points, deducting 10 points, or deducting 5 points. A total score of 80 points or above is considered a pass.
