Should You Replace or Patch a Punctured Car Tire?

Replacing the tire is safer and lasts longer. The following are situations where the tire cannot be patched: 1. Situation one: The sidewall cannot be patched. 2. Situation two: The puncture hole on the tread exceeds 6mm in diameter. 3. Situation three: If there is damage or deformation to the bead, tread deformation, rubber corroded by chemicals, or damage from driving underinflated. 4. Situation four: Other abnormal conditions where patching is not possible. For example, if signs of driving underinflated are visible on the tire (such as sidewall scuffing or air-seal layer bubbling), it's not worth patching because the tire structure may already be compromised. Additionally, some damages render the tire unusable, making patching pointless.
