It is absolutely necessary to keep a fire extinguisher in your car. When driving in hot weather, experiencing vehicle malfunctions, or encountering short circuits, the risk of a car catching fire increases significantly. Having a fire extinguisher on hand allows you to quickly suppress the flames, ensuring personal safety. According to regulations: medium and large passenger vehicles, as well as hazardous goods transport vehicles, must be equipped with valid fire extinguishers and firefighting equipment. Failure to comply may result in warnings or fines. While there is no strict requirement for private cars, a fire extinguisher must be present during annual vehicle inspections; otherwise, the inspection will not pass. For safety reasons, it is highly recommended that every driver carry a fire extinguisher in their vehicle. Car fire extinguishers: The most commonly used types for vehicles are dry powder and water-based extinguishers. Dry powder extinguishers are effective at quickly suppressing fires, affordable, and versatile. Water-based extinguishers come in two main types: foam and water mist, which are dust-free, non-suffocating, highly effective, and environmentally friendly. They are easy to use, making them a recommended choice for every car owner to keep in their vehicle.

I think keeping a fire extinguisher in the car is quite necessary, especially if you drive frequently or go on long trips. From my experience, although fires are rare, once there's an issue with the engine or wiring, smoke and flames can appear in just a few seconds. A small car fire extinguisher, like the dry powder type, is easy to operate and can quickly put out initial flames, preventing the car from being completely destroyed. I keep a 1kg one in my car, fixed under the passenger seat so it's within easy reach while driving. Don’t forget to regularly check the pressure gauge to ensure it hasn’t expired. When it comes to safety, spending a little money for peace of mind is better than regretting it after an incident. I recommend everyone consider carrying one.

What Does Vehicle RPM Mean?

Vehicle RPM refers to the rotational speed of a car's engine. RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) measures the number of complete turns a rotating object makes around a fixed axis per unit of time. Its functions include: 1. Providing real-time feedback on the engine's operating condition; 2. Helping drivers better coordinate gear shifts and throttle position; 3. Maintaining optimal vehicle performance; 4. Reducing wear and extending engine lifespan. The significance of engine RPM lies in its direct correlation with the number of power cycles per unit time or the engine's effective power output, meaning the engine's effective power varies with different RPM levels. The tachometer is located on the instrument panel, symmetrically positioned with the speedometer.

What Causes Engine Shaking During Startup?

Engine shaking during startup can be caused by: 1. Dirty throttle body; 2. Faulty spark plugs; 3. Non-functioning engine cylinders; 4. Aged rubber components in engine mounts or transmission mounts. The automobile engine serves as the power source for vehicles, determining their performance, fuel efficiency, stability, and environmental friendliness. Automotive engines are categorized into diesel engines, gasoline engines, electric vehicle motors, and hybrid motors. Both gasoline and diesel engines belong to reciprocating piston-type internal combustion engines that convert the chemical energy of fuel into mechanical energy through piston movement to generate power output.

Should the tire pressure of all four tires be the same?

The tire pressure of all four tires does not need to be identical. The normal tire pressure range is between 2.3 and 2.5 bar. Tire pressure refers to the air pressure inside the tire, and it plays a crucial role in the performance and power of the vehicle. The functions of tire pressure monitoring are: 1. Preventing accidents; 2. Extending the lifespan of the tires; 3. Making driving more economical; 4. Reducing wear on the suspension system. Tires are in direct contact with the road surface, and their functions include: 1. Working together with the vehicle's suspension to absorb shocks during driving; 2. Ensuring a comfortable ride and smooth driving experience; 3. Maintaining good adhesion between the wheels and the road surface; 4. Improving the vehicle's traction, braking, and off-road capability; 5. Supporting the weight of the vehicle.

How to Open the Car Hood When the Release Cable is Broken?

When the car hood release cable is broken, the method to open the hood is: remove the vehicle's fender or bumper, reach under the hood latch with your hand and pull the latch forcefully to open the hood. The functions of the hood are: 1. Airflow guidance; 2. Protection for the engine and surrounding pipeline components; 3. Assisting driving visibility by effectively adjusting the direction of reflected light; 4. Preventing accidents; 5. Isolating heat generated during engine operation. Methods to deal with a stuck hood that won't open: 1. Lubricate the hood latch spring; 2. Use a tool to hook open the hood, or insert a wire from under the vehicle's engine into the hood latch hole to pull open the hood.

What is the sequence for parking an automatic transmission car?

Automatic transmission parking sequence is: 1. Slow down and press the brake, shift to N gear and turn off the engine; 2. Pull the handbrake, release the foot brake after the vehicle comes to a complete stop, then shift to P gear. The starting steps for an automatic transmission car are: 1. Insert the key in P gear, press the brake and shift to N gear to start; 2. Shift from N to D gear, then release the handbrake and foot brake to start moving. The gears of an automatic transmission car are: 1. P is Parking gear: Used for starting and long-term parking; 2. R is Reverse gear: Used for reversing; 3. N is Neutral gear: Used for short-term parking; 4. D is Drive gear: Also called driving gear, used for normal forward movement; 5. L is Low gear: Used for downhill or uphill driving; 6. S is Sport mode: Provides stronger power for overtaking; 7. M is Manual mode: Can be switched to manual driving.
