Should the Wheels Be Straightened When Parking?

When parking, the wheels should be straightened; otherwise, over time it may affect the power steering system or the inclination angle of the front wheel kingpin. The functions and hazards are as follows: Functions: The tire tread is in contact with the ground in the vertical direction, but when the steering angle changes, the tire shoulder and part of the tread will bear the force. Hazards: The tire will maintain a state where the tread is in contact with the ground and bearing force. When the steering wheel is not straightened, the pressure on the tire sidewall is relatively high. Since the tire sidewall is very thin, frequently subjecting the tire to unbalanced force will accelerate the aging and deformation of the tire sidewall. Over time, this may lead to air leakage or tire blowouts.
