Alternatively, the leakage might be due to issues with the safety valve or wiring connections. First, remove the battery cover and check for any leakage marks on the safety valve. If present, the corresponding parts should be repaired or replaced. 3. If the electrolyte leakage is severe (leaking out completely in a short time) and the above methods cannot resolve the issue, the battery must be replaced immediately. Otherwise, the leaked electrolyte (which contains strong acid) will corrode the car body or surrounding components.
