Should the AC be turned on when using the car air conditioner?

When using the car air conditioner to blow cold air, the AC button needs to be turned on. However, when using the heater, the AC button does not need to be activated because the AC button represents the air conditioning compressor, which is only used when blowing cold air. The heater does not require the use of the air conditioning compressor. The car air conditioning system includes not only the compressor but also components such as the condenser, evaporator, and expansion valve. During the process of blowing cold air, the compressor is one of the key components of the refrigeration system. Therefore, when using the cold air function, it is essential to turn on the AC button; otherwise, the air conditioning system will only operate the blower, delivering air at normal temperature.
