Tesla's overheating protection is necessary to turn on. Tesla recently conducted a major software update for the Model 3, introducing a series of features previously available only for Model S and Model X to the Model 3. Details are as follows: 1. Summon Feature: After the upgrade, the Model 3 supports the "Summon" feature, enabling autonomous parking and exiting of parking spaces, and also supports connecting to WiFi networks. Previously, this model only supported internet access via Tesla's provided LTE network. 2. Overheat Protection: Another new feature is "Cabin Overheat Protection." According to Tesla's description, when activated, the vehicle will maintain the interior temperature below 40°C for up to 12 hours after the owner leaves the car.
