Should I Use Full Synthetic or Semi-Synthetic Engine Oil for My Car?

Using full synthetic engine oil for your car can provide lubrication and wear reduction, auxiliary cooling, sealing and leak prevention, rust and corrosion protection, as well as shock absorption for the engine. The method for changing car engine oil is as follows: 1. Remove the air filter, clean it with an air pump, and reinstall it; 2. Lift the car, unscrew the drain plug to release the old oil, and remove the oil filter; 3. Add approximately 3.5 liters of new engine oil. The differences between full synthetic and semi-synthetic engine oils are: 1. Different base oils: Full synthetic oils are blended from Group III, IV, and V base oils, while semi-synthetic oils use Group III base oils. 2. Different replacement intervals: Full synthetic oils should be replaced once a year or every 10,000 kilometers, whereas semi-synthetic oils should be replaced every six months or every 7,500 kilometers.
