Vehicles that are severely damaged or in poor technical condition and cannot be repaired, meeting the automobile scrapping standards, shall be subject to mandatory scrapping. When a vehicle is damaged, the following options can be considered: Insurance company compensates, and the owner repairs the car themselves. Insurance company designates a repair shop to fix the car. Insurance company compensates, and the vehicle is recycled and scrapped. Vehicle scrapping process: The car owner applying for scrapping and renewal must fill out the "Motor Vehicle Change, Transfer, Modification, Suspension, or Scrapping Approval Application Form" in duplicate and affix the owner's seal. The application is registered and reviewed, and a "Vehicle Scrapping Notice" is issued for vehicles that have reached the scrapping age limit. For vehicles that have not reached the scrapping age limit, after inspection and verification that they meet the automobile scrapping standards, a "Vehicle Scrapping Notice" is issued. The owner then submits the vehicle to a qualified recycling enterprise with the "Vehicle Scrapping Notice".
