Sanyang Fiddle 4 Maintenance Schedule?

The first maintenance is free and must be performed within 3 months or 5,000 kilometers, whichever comes first (if the original fully synthetic oil is chosen for the first maintenance, an additional 170 yuan is required). After the first maintenance, the engine oil should still be changed every 5,000 kilometers. However, according to the official manual, after the first maintenance, the oil filter should be replaced every 10,000 kilometers under normal conditions, and only under severe driving conditions should it be shortened to every 5,000 kilometers. The maintenance intervals for other regular components are also quite regular: the air filter and cabin air filter should be replaced every 20,000 kilometers; the fuel filter, automatic transmission fluid, and spark plugs should be replaced every 40,000 kilometers, meaning a major maintenance is required every 40,000 kilometers.
I've been riding the SYM Fiddle 4 for almost two years now, and the maintenance cycle really depends on usage. The first service at 1,000 km is mandatory—change the engine oil and oil filter. After that, it's safest to change the full synthetic oil every 2,000-3,000 km, and the gear oil every 6,000 km. The air filter should be cleaned every 5,000 km to blow out dust, and replaced if it gets wet. Transmission maintenance is often overlooked—I check the belt and variator weights every 10,000 km. For fuel, I recommend using 95 octane for better engine performance. Major services like throttle body cleaning and brake fluid changes can wait until 20,000 km, depending on the bike's condition. Short commutes may allow for slightly extended intervals, but long-distance or high-RPM riding calls for earlier maintenance.
