Reasons for Sunroof Not Responding?
1 Answers
There are many reasons why a car sunroof may not open or respond, with the most common being the following four: 1. Sunroof circuit malfunction; 2. The sunroof's drive motor is damaged; 3. Severe lack of lubrication in the sunroof track, causing the sunroof seal to stick to the car body. 4. There is a foreign object stuck in the sunroof slot. It is recommended to first check if the electric sunroof's fuse has blown. If the fuse is intact, then check if the electric sunroof switch is functioning properly—press the switch to see if there is power. If there is, then check if the electric sunroof's drive motor is working by listening for the sound of the motor operating. Additionally, if the sunroof doesn't close tightly, it might be due to an obstruction or deformation in the sunroof's sliding track, or it could be rusted or poorly lubricated.
