Reasons for No Sound from the Parking Sensor

Reasons why the parking sensor does not beep: 1. Damaged wiring: The wiring connection is inappropriate or already damaged. If the rear of the car is close to an obvious obstacle and the parking sensor does not respond at all, it is a problem with the parking sensor wiring. 2. Slow response: Low sensitivity and slow response. Sometimes, even when the obstacle is visible in the rearview mirror, the parking sensor still cannot recognize it and only beeps when very close. This is due to the poor quality of the radar itself. 3. Failure to detect: There is a blind spot at the far left and far right of the parking sensor. When this blind spot is about to touch an obstacle, the parking sensor cannot detect it. The parking sensor, also known as the "reverse collision avoidance radar" or "parking assist device," mainly consists of ultrasonic sensors, a controller, and a display.
