Last time I checked the Peugeot 408 fuse box myself, I noticed the complete reference chart was printed on the inside of the cover. Just open the storage compartment on the left side of the driver's seat and remove the cover panel to access the fuse box. However, be aware that fuse locations vary between model years - my 2018 version has fewer positions than newer models. To identify specific fuse functions, it's best to consult your vehicle's user manual which contains clear diagrams. If you can't find the manual, search forum posts for your model year where many helpful owners have uploaded photos. Remember to disconnect power before working, and use small tweezers to handle fuses safely rather than touching them directly to avoid short circuits.

How to Deal with Abnormal Noise When Raising and Lowering Car Windows?

Methods to address abnormal noise when raising and lowering car windows: Replace the window sealing strips or clean the dirt between the windows. Abnormal noise during window operation is usually caused by aging window sealing strips or dirt accumulation between the window glass and the seals. Aging window seals increase friction, leading to noise when the windows are raised or lowered—a common issue in older vehicles. For dirt-related problems, you can often resolve it yourself by raising the window, rinsing the gaps with water, drying it, then lowering the window. Use a chopstick or an old card wrapped in a towel or cloth to clean the gaps thoroughly. After cleaning and drying, apply a small amount of lubricant spray.

Is an automatic transmission car for C1 or C2 driver's license?

An automatic transmission car requires a C2 driver's license. An automatic transmission typically refers to a car's automatic gear-shifting mechanism, where the control system of the automatic transmission selects the appropriate gear based on the engine's speed and load during driving, replacing the driver's subjective judgment of timing and gear-shifting operations. A C2 license allows driving small and micro automatic transmission passenger cars, as well as light and micro automatic transmission cargo vehicles. Generally, automatic transmission cars have six gear positions, from top to bottom: P (Park), R (Reverse), N (Neutral), D (Drive), S (Sport), and L (Low). There are three common types of automatic transmissions in cars: AT (Automatic Transmission), CVT (Continuously Variable Transmission), and DCT (Dual Clutch Transmission). AT is an automatic transmission, CVT is a continuously variable transmission, and DCT is a dual-clutch transmission.
