Methods to Test Vehicle Pulling
1 Answers
There are four methods to test if a vehicle is pulling: 1. Ensure all four tires have identical air pressure; 2. On a straight and level road, maintain straight-line driving with the steering wheel centered—if the vehicle does not pull, it is in normal condition; 3. If the vehicle does not pull on a straight road but the steering wheel is not aligned: this is unrelated to wheel alignment and can be fixed by adjusting the length of the steering tie rods; 4. If the vehicle pulls on a straight road and requires steering correction to maintain direction: this indicates a wheel alignment issue.
