Is There Still a Scrap Period for Private Cars?
1 Answers
Private cars have no scrap period. For household 5-seat sedans and 7-seat SUVs, non-commercial small and mini vehicles have no usage lifespan. When the normal mileage reaches 600,000 kilometers, the state will guide for scrapping. In addition to the above vehicles, small and mini non-commercial passenger vehicles, large non-commercial sedans, and wheeled special machinery vehicles also have no usage lifespan restrictions. The scrap period for small and mini rental passenger cars is 8 years, for medium rental passenger cars is 10 years, and for large rental passenger cars is 12 years. The scrap period for public transport passenger cars is 13 years, for other small and mini commercial passenger vehicles is 10 years, and for large and medium commercial passenger vehicles is 15 years. The scrap period for mini commercial trucks is 8 years, and for light and large commercial trucks is 10 years.
