Is There Any Harm in Sharing a Photo of My Driver's License?

Sharing a photo of your driver's license can lead to information leakage: 1. ID Number: The certificate number on the auxiliary page of the driver's license is the ID number. 2. File Number: The first 2 digits of the 12-digit file number represent the province code of the driver's license; digits 3~4 represent the county code; the last 8 digits are the sequential number of the driver's license. If you accidentally share a photo of your driver's license online, for safety reasons, you can apply for a replacement at the vehicle management office where the license was issued. Currently, each driver's license has a unique number and is managed with computer traceability. After applying for a replacement, the original driver's license and its number will be marked as invalid in the driver's license management system.
