Is There Any Harm If an Automatic Transmission Vehicle Doesn't Stall When Wading Through Water?

Generally, there's no issue. Precautions: After slowing down and parking in a safe area, it's necessary to inspect the engine compartment, engine air intake, wheels, and brake discs for any blockages caused by debris in the water to avoid affecting driving safety. Upon exiting the water, apply the brakes gently to dry the brake pads by friction. It's also advisable to check the air filter, fuel filter, and battery for any water ingress or moisture. Replace them promptly if any issues are found. Dangerous Situations: If the air filter is completely soaked with water and there are water marks in the intake pipe, the intake manifold may also have water ingress. However, the engine might not necessarily be damaged. In such cases, do not start the engine. The best course of action is to call for a tow truck.
