Is there a filter inside the transmission?

There is a filter inside the transmission, which is used to filter the transmission fluid. The transmission contains transmission fluid. For manual transmissions, the fluid serves the purpose of lubrication and cooling; for automatic transmissions, the fluid functions to lubricate, cool, and transmit power. Automatic transmissions have shift control mechanisms that require transmission fluid to operate properly. Over time, the transmission fluid accumulates metal debris. If this debris is not filtered out, it will continuously circulate within the transmission, accelerating wear and potentially damaging the control mechanisms. When replacing the transmission fluid, the transmission filter should also be replaced.
