Is the Wuling Hongguang a rear-wheel drive or front-wheel drive car?

Wuling Hongguang is a rear-wheel drive car. Rear-wheel drive refers to the power distribution method in automotive design where the engine's power only drives the rear wheels. In rear-wheel drive cars, the front wheels do not generate power during driving; they only serve to bear weight and steer. The cylinders in rear-wheel drive engines are arranged parallel to the direction of travel, and the engine is mostly installed in the front of the car, driving the differential installed between the two rear wheels through a driveshaft to distribute power to the rear wheels. The Wuling Hongguang is the first independently developed crossover product between commercial vehicles and passenger cars launched by SAIC-GM-Wuling. Its flexible and versatile interior space is a major highlight of the car. The seats are arranged in a 2+2+3 layout, and thanks to the 2720mm wheelbase length, the passenger space inside the car is quite ideal. By changing the seat arrangement, owners can also create various forms of cargo space independently.
